Preparation Materials
Manuals
Preparation Manuals are free. Using your computer, you can download and print them. You can also email them to others. To download a manual for free, simply click the title below that you want.
If you have a disability or health-related need and require test preparation materials in an alternate format, contact ETS Disability Services. ETS is committed to producing alternate formats (e.g., braille, recorded audio, reader's script, large print) as quickly as possible. Production times vary.
Test Preparation Manuals may not be reproduced for commercial use but may be copied for educational purposes. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) would appreciate credit for the material used and a copy of the reprint.
Addendum Notices
Addendum notices provide important information for all Texas teacher certification candidates using the Texas Educator Certification Program Preparation Manuals. Updates and corrections to the Preparation Manuals are described in these notices.

You can also order a bound, printed copy of some Preparation Manuals for $15, by clicking the order form link below and completing the paper order form.
IMPORTANT: When updates occur after a manual is printed, an addendum notice is posted on this website (see Addendum Notices above). Manuals that have addendum notices are indicated on the order form.
Preparation Manual Downloads
