How much do the tests cost?
The 2009-10 test fee is $120 per test, with the exception of the TExES Superintendent test. The Superintendent test is a two-session test and both sessions are required. The fee for that test is $240.
How do I register to take a test?
You can register online or by phone for all paper-based tests. Registration by mail for paper-based tests is available only for test takers who do not have access to an electronic form of payment (credit/debit card). Registration for computer-administered tests can only be done online and by phone. More information about registration methods is available in the Registration Bulletin for each program.
How do I get a copy of the Registration Bulletin?
Registration Bulletins can be downloaded free of charge from this website.
If I am registering by mail, can I use one registration form for two different test dates?

No, you must use a separate registration form for each test date. Remember that registration by mail is available only for test takers who do not have access to an electronic form of payment (credit/debit card).

What do I do if I need to change my test, test center, test date or test session?

Requests to change your test, test date, test center or test session can be done online or by phone. Change requests for paper-based tests can also be done by completing and submitting a Change Request form. The Change Request form can be downloaded from this website. Fees, payment policies and completion and submission instructions are on the form.

You cannot make a request to change from a paper-based test to a computer-administered test and vice versa. To do this, you must cancel the test for which you are registered and then register for the new test.

A test date can only be changed to a date within the current testing year. If you are affiliated with an Educator Preparation Program, you must be preapproved for the new test you are planning to take.
